Beau Fadahunsi comes from a legal background. She is a qualified solicitor, but has worked in the voluntary and community sector for the past 20 plus years. She worked for many years in the field of Equality and Human Rights, but more latterly has manager at Volunteer Centre and currently is Head of Community Development and Volunteering at Merton Voluntary Service Council.
Beau has a wealth of experience in providing development advice to individuals, organisations and is passionate about supporting people to bring about positive change for their communities. In this role she has assisted hundreds of organisations with a variety of issues; from inception, creation and formal registration of their charity/social enterprise, development of governance, policies and procedures, staff engagement, personnel matters, volunteer programmes and volunteer management, aw well as issues regarding funding and organisation’s sustainability.
Beau is a qualified trainer and facilitates a number of in-house training courses for her current employer, as well as providing consultation and training workshops for a variety external bodies, including, Cabinet Office, Home Office, South East Coast Ambulance Service and Tutu Foundation (UK).
Beau is a very active volunteer and volunteers for a number of different organisations, in a variety of roles. These include; school and college governor, charity trustee, sport club volunteer and Team London Ambassador.
