Karen Ramnauth is Voluntary Services Manager at South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. Her role focuses on designing and implementing policy and governance infrastructure for volunteer activities to flourish, and fostering best practice in volunteer management throughout the Trust. She promotes an evidence based approach in all aspects of the volunteer journey, including engagement, measuring outcomes and reward and retention. Karen is also a Director at the Association of Volunteer Managers (AVM). She is a non-practising solicitor who is passionate about social action and the ability of volunteers to improve health outcomes in local communities.
