Diversity and Inclusion Manager,

Karen Sheldon is currently responsible for implementing the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda at the British Red Cross, across operational and support services, ensuring commitment at every level and reaching service users, volunteers and staff. She has a background in youth engagement, which included including increasing the Red Cross’s percentage of young volunteers aged 15-25 from 8% to 20%, developing participation and leadership approaches and widening the diversity of those volunteering.
