Paul Needham

Head of Volunteering,

Paul joined the National Deaf Children’s Society 6 years ago and is responsible for both operational and strategic management of volunteers across the UK. He developed the organisation’s first volunteering strategy and introduced a competence-based approach to volunteer management. Paul was involved with the Citizens Advice Service for over 15 years at a local, regional and national level. With a continuing commitment to social justice, he started his career in housing advice and has volunteered with a range of organisations in different roles including as an advisor, trustee and fundraiser. Paul holds a Degree in Philosophy, a Post-graduate Diploma in Housing Studies and a Professional Certificate in Management.
